Optimist 2.0 font: Warning!
The SE Optimist 2.0 font, even if dedicated to Schneider Electric, is the property of a contracted font studioWe have negotiated license fees for the usage by Schneider Electric communication community only.
As we have negotiated a limited number of licenses for our own use, we have
to minimize the number of machines equipped with this new SE Optimist.Consequently,you are not allowed to download and/or install it if you are not directly involved in the process of designing communication tools.
As a reminder:
Arial font is the font to be used for PowerPoint and Word documents.
So, only people working with software such as In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop are concerned.
SE Optimist v1 is now to be considered
as a forbidden version and we have committed ourselvesto stop using it and to remove it from our machines.
SE Optimist version 1 has to be removed from the Font directory before installation of the new version to avoid
technical conflicts.
Suppliers restrictionsIt’s absolutely forbidden to give the font for free to our suppliers.
This would engage the Company in case of pursuit, and could be considered as a professional fault.
To get a license for the new font version, a dedicated and hidden page has been created by the font studio that developed it on its internet site. License fees have been negotiated and our suppliers will benefit from a discount price depending on the number of licenses they need.
For Suppliers, Vendors , this font is available to purchase but you must have your Schneider-Electric Project Manager contact Audrey Tuten. (audrey.tuten @ schneider-electric.com).

number of seat licenses required for them to fulfill the request.
Purchasing the fonts can be done after that communication has occurred.
